It’s been a while since my last post.
Lately, my fiancé and I have been talking about our journey and our lives. There has been a big change in our life and we leaving NZ.
As you already know from my previous posts, we spent here in New Zealand more than 5 years. It wasn’t an easy way, but we are grateful for everything we have learned here, for all the experience and knowledge of this beautiful country.
During this time we tried to get a residence. But we unfortunately failed. New Zealand’s Immigration system has more complex requirements every year and this dream becomes impossible for people from Slovakia, which is a shame.
But, let’s move on.
Since we didn’t have this opportunity to get a residence, we decided to move in our lives and try something new. And here comes a change in our lives. It was always our dream. I never thought we’d do it and decide to travel.
We are going to leave the New Zealand one year earlier, than we had planned. Since our Work Visa are valid until September 2020 and we are flying on July 16, 2019. Life is about change and now is the time for our change. We don’t want to wait any longer.
Where are we heading to?
We didn’t have to think long and we both agreed to spend the first month in Bali. I started looking for the best places in Bali. Well, since we will be there for 4 weeks, we decided to divide it into three different places. We will spend the first 2 weeks in Nusa Dua then move to Ubud for 7 days and finally the last 7 days in Canggu. I hope we have planned it well, because this is our first trip to Bali.If you know about some interesting places we should visit, please comment down below.
Next in our journey we will continue to Thailand also for a month. We will spend the first 2 weeks in Phuket and another 2 weeks in Koh Samui. Some recommendations?
Once we get there, I’ll keep you updated about our stay, accommodation, food, prices. And also things you should know before and after going to Bali and Thailand.
After visiting Thailand we are not quite sure where we will go next. 🙂
So yea, it is quite a big change in our life! Still can’t believe we leaving NZ.
